Real Halloween

It’s barely July and we’re already talking Halloween. Universal Studios annual Halloween Horror Nights is going to extend itself this year, ballooning to a 17-night schedule, offering spine-chilling new mazes based upon the horror genre’s most compelling characters, all created in collaboration with top filmmakers and artists. This year’s event will also include a tram ride through the world’s largest and most intense 3D experience, King Kong 360 3D, created by Peter Jackson. Anything Peter Jackson-related is always sure to be an incredible artistic, visual and satisfying spectacle. But 17 nights of horror? Can Universal Studios handle it? Can you handle it? Can the old folk with pacemakers visiting the attraction handle it? Can those promiscuous teenagers with rampant hormones handle it?

These 17 nights of terror will begin on Friday, September 24 and continue on weekends and other selected nights through Sunday, October 31. New content for the event’s expanded number of attractions, including five mazes, six “scare zones” and a new “Terror Tram” experience, will be announced shortly
